If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever
To some Theodorable, Theo for short, was just a guinea pig, a rodent, but to me, Skye (his cage mate) and the many people who met him, he was a gentle, sweet, loving soul. Theo didn't have the best start in life, he was surrendered to a rescue when he was around 15 months old, after two failed bondings, with male piggies, he was neutered. Theo was adopted, in August 2019 as a companion for my other guinea pigs, from the day he arrived, he adored his "wife".
Theo was given the name Theodore, by the rescue, this was quickly changed, to Theodorable, he was such a content, happy, sweet natured gentleman. It was as though he knew that at last he was safe, warm, loved and well fed, so content was he. There are so many anecdotes, I could share about Theo. His love of cuddles and being snuggled in a blanket and this was how he left this world.
His joy of spending time in the garden on warm sunny days. Theo's love of carrots-he would swing them about, like a light saber, such was his excitement to get a carrot, nearly knocking his cage mate Skye out, in the same process!
Refusing to eat, until he got a cuddle and a fuss, if he hadn't had a cuddle for a few days, because my asthma wasn't great. My companion during shielding, contendly sitting in his bed, wrapped up in blankets, next to me, as I worked at my desk. I could go on and on, you were only small, but you were a big part of my life and though you were only with me for just over 4 years, you've left me with a lifetime of memories and getting wierd looks in supermarkets when I start giggling at the sight of.a bag of carrots.
Thank you for everything, goodnight my sweet old man.
Skye was adopted at.six weeks old, from the day I adopted her, it was evident that she was, as many people said "a bit of character". The lady who ran the rescue, I adopted her from, who had reared her from 3 days old, often joked "I'm never hand rearing another piggy, on aptimel, if it causes them to turn out like Skye!"
Skye was loud and demanding, if she wanted something, she made sure she got it, being woken up by her, in the early hours of the morning, wasn't unusual. She was cheeky and mischievous, often sneaking up on her cage mate, when they where dozing, nipping them , before running off, pocorning with joy!
She was so inquisitive, she loved being part of everything and into everything she could get into. Skye didn't do cuddles, she wanted to be off and exploring. She loved to stand up, on her hind legs, which took a few people by surprise!
Skye brought so much joy and laughter, she was often likened to being like a "naughty toddler" No matter how bad my day had been, Skye could brighten it, even if it was just a little, by just being her.
Skye was with us, for over 6 years, she adored her cage mate Theodorable, when he passed, the joy seemed to leave her life, though she picked up a little, when I adopted a new friend for her, however 5 weeks excactly, after he left us, she too left us, passing away during the night.
Sven I miss you so much because I've had you for 6 years.
I love you and you had a good life with me I miss you so much 💛💕
Love Robyn ❤️😍

Marley we all miss you so much and Pedro keeps searching you. You were such a big part of our lives that we didn’t want to lose but now you're over the rainbow bridge. And all we have a memories that will live for ever with us rest in peace my beautiful girl.
The only way to describe my hamster is to say that her name fit her perfectly, she was a princess. We never knew how gentle and loving a hamster could be, she lived a long and happy life.
We are so grateful for finding Scrappys to give our gorgeous girl the most beautiful send off.
We love and miss you so much our little bundle of fluff xx
We adopted our Daisy from Pets at Home, we went one day just to look around and I instantly fell in love with her, we went back 3 days later and then came home with her.
We were told she was biting the previous owners’ kids, however with us, she was the sweetest, sassiest hamster who just loved to run around and explore. Daisy was such an inquisitive girl, she would often just pause and listen to what we were watching on the TV and she also loved listening to relaxing music.
Daisy was so full of personality, you could tell as soon as she woke up what mood she was in, but whatever her mood the shake of her food or treats she would instantly be at the front of the cage waiting for her food and would be so gently, and your best friend.
We miss you every day Daisy <3
My first little baby - Thor aka bun bun
I still can’t believe you’re gone. I didn’t know what to expect when I got a rabbit but I didn’t expect you - you were funny, cheeky, wild and so full of love. You loved binkys, zoomies, chewing all the skirting boards in our first flat (lil tinker ha), bananas and you loved kisses and snugs with mama.
The house feels empty without you, we’ll miss you so much. I don’t know what comes after this life, but I hope I see you again someday ❤️🌈
My beautiful, mischievous and cheeky little bunny Blue; I’m going to miss you so much. From the moment I was up in the morning, you’d make a beeline for the food container and not move until you’d been given some. Every time I’d stand up, you’d be right there at my feet expecting treats or parsley. You hated being picked up and would flick your back feet out at me, honk your disapproval and then give me the cold shoulder; you always made me laugh. You had an amazing character and knew exactly how to wrap me around your fluffy little paw.
Willow your wife bun will miss you terribly but I’ll make sure she gets your share of the treats and love. Fly high my beautiful boy…….until we meet again.
Tina really was my soulmate. For such a tiny girl, she held so much love. The day we first met, I never thought she would leave such an impact on my life.
We never left each other’s side, and I mean that literally. When I went to university, she came to university; when I went home, she came home. I was never alone because I always had her. My whole future, my whole career, is because of you Tina. I could never have made it without you. You did your job; you looked after me well, and I’ll keep going. I’ll make you proud, tiny.
Wait for me okay princess️ ❤️
Hammy was my whole life, it’s difficult to imagine having to wake up everyday for the rest of my life without him, but i know he’s in a better place.
I’ll love you forever ham ❤️❤️
At a really hard time in my life, I went on the search for a little companion, and so I found Boris - the absolute mad man.
Little fella used to squeak his head off whenever I called his name.
But Mr Boris, you were always in such a rush, why use the ramps when you can climb like an Olympic athlete.
And the escapes you had: Seeing you popping your head out from the wardrobe while I was watching TV, or when I went to my room, and you were sat at the door waiting
I’ll miss watching you carry your wooden carrots through each of your cages just to get it back into your bed.
Even in the early days when you bit me, I know you were only afraid. We became the bestest friends and you would travel around in my hood and peek out
Tiny dude, massive impact 🌈❤️🥕
Our darling little Bubbles you gave us so much happiness from the tiny little thing you were right up to your grand old age of nearly three years old!
Sleep Tight our little friend we will love you forever.
Our beautiful baby boy. You helped us through lots of difficult times, and were always on hand to assist in our jobs! We felt truly blessed to have you in our lives and thank you for all the affection you showed us, unconditionally, every single day. Even when you chewed cables, we couldn’t get cross with you and that gorgeous face. We can’t express how much we miss you and your mischievous, loving nature. The binkies, runnies, kisses, loves, lickies, fluffs, nose strokes, tickely tums and even your stinky bum! You filled us with so much joy. Thank you little Skippy. Mammy and Daddy love you so much x
Our lovely little Jeff, for a teeny boy you had a big personality. I will forever miss you running to the top tier of your home when you heard our voices, then going onto your back legs, little paws held in front of you as we opened the hatch, then jumping straight on my hand for a 'hug'. You always made us laugh with your wierd and wonderful ways, you brought us so much joy, I loved to just sit and watch you zoom everywhere. You were always so full of life, and such a clumsy boy. Love you always forever our lovely boy xxx
Logan was my best friend from the second he came into my life for my tenth birthday. He was adored by everyone who met him, even his animal siblings:)
I will never forget all the times we spent together and all the memories we made, from playing in the garden to taking you out on adventures and even just having naps together. He was with me no matter what I went through, waiting in his tank with a smile on his face when I came home.
To some people he is “just a lizard” but he was twice that and more. He was loved beyond measure and such a character, I am so blessed to have spent 11 years with him.
Logan I love you so much my little man and you are so very missed, by me and everyone else. Sleep tight my love x ❤️
